How to Become a Writer

Great read for those interested in writing, or if you can grab the general concepts, applicable to any profession, be it an artisan or a harlot, which essentially, can mean the same thing.

I was thinking for next year it would be awesome if I just painted portraits (oils or acrylic, natural media). It would be a significant course change, and most likely a bad decision if I wanted to make any money whatsoever, but at least it would be interesting.

But I won't... but I CAN if I wanted... So I might, but I probably won't... But I want to make something Beautiful... T-shirts are cartoons and boogers...

It would be quite interesting though, even as an observer, as an experiment, to see if I could acclimate to another less forgiving medium.

I do love creating portraits, or at least used too... Meh. PipeDream.

I've fancied this guy's work for a long while...

What should I do internetz?

It would, at least, be interesting...

I'd like to see your work in other mediums. I think it would be exciting.

Do what you love. And if it isn't enough to pay the bills, do enough of things you like to pay them, then do more of what you love. :)

Says the woman who is currently doing what she hates...

I think your past portrait work is very stunning. It would be awesome if you did some more.
Living at home with the parents would be a great time to see what you can do with portraiture. At least if it doesn't work out it doesn't mean you're livin' on the street. You never know unless you try.
But, only you know in the end what is right for you, so just follow your heart. It seems to have worked well for you so far.
