Milestone: Promise to Self...

I started to look at the possible obstacles in going freelance - the difficulty of recooping a salary job income, the equipment or monetary needs to begin, etc.

They say whenever you take your eyes off the goal, all you see is the obstacles.

So this is the promise, before I even take the leap:

I give myself 2 years after going PT or freelance to even reconsider full time employment.

It will be hard, and scary. I may tank my savings, I may not. If ever I forget why I even jumped in the first place these are the reasons why:

I am an excellent self motivated worker.
Working hard doesnt pay off, unless you are in sales or working for yourself. (Even in sales, someone else cuts your checks.)
Employers will pay you as little as possible, and also talk you down to where you believe you arent worth much.
Your boss or your bosses boss, quit his job to start his own company, and he has all the money.
I am self competitive.
I want to be mobile. If I can do business from a computer, I can live ANYWHERE. Work while Im on vacation.
